Wildly Organic: Fermented Organic Cacao Nibs

Following the harvest, Wildly Organic’s cacao beans are pulled out of the pods, specially fermented in banana leaves in the shade for 3-5 days, and dried. Cacao nibs are simply crushed bits of the meat from those raw cacao beans. Its decadent, full-bodied chocolate flavor and aroma is perfect for a variety of dishes, from sweet to savory. Use them combined with berries, dried fruits and nuts. Or use them in hot coffee, milk or delicious beverage. They are free of any artificial additives, high in antioxidants, non-GMO, sugar-free, gluten-freen and keto-friendly.

Concerning the Cacao…

They import Trinitario-type raw cacao nibs from Peru. The soil and temperature in the area are thought to give the chocolate nibs there a deeper, darker brown hue.

Its organic cacao nibs are produced by organically fermenting cacao pods for three to five days in the shade on banana leaves. The nibs are shelled and husked but never roasted or given any more heat exposure, preserving their delicate flavor. These chocolate nibs are made from cacao beans that were naturally formed without the use of any pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals. Additionally, they buy them from Peru as fair trade goods.
