Concerning the Cacao…
This bar was inspired by the single origin cacao beans Goodnow Farms use to make their Asochivite chocolate, which has won numerous awards. These Guatemalan cacao beans’ vibrant fruit tastes inspired them to combine them with Guatemala’s luscious Las Palomas coffee beans from George Howell to produce an extremely fruity chocolate. They have a special brew made for us by the coffee whisperers at George Howell, and they have soaked the Asochivite nibs in the coffee until all of the complex tastes of the just-brewed coffee have fully infused the nibs. Before adding them to stone grinders to manufacture chocolate, and then meticulously dry them. The use of their own freshly squeezed Asochivite cocoa butter offers real chocolate flavor and smoothness as well as intense flavor in the bar.
